AAK

You’ve probably enjoyed AAK’s products, even if you didn’t know it. The company has been producing oils and fats for 140 years, and their products are commonly found in baked goods and foods.

Cookies. The kind you actually eat.

I collaborated with Publicis Sapient in Malmö to revamp AAK’s entire website. We wanted to highlight the company’s strength in working closely with their clients, especially when it comes to product development. It was an extensive project. We conducted competitor analysis, developed user journeys, and structured all the content. The team worked on UX, wireframes, prototyping, and frontend development. I wrote about cookies, fats, pastries, chocolate creams, values, and AAK’s social engagement.

The launch was a true success, not least because of the SEO work that led to strong rankings on the keywords we developed.

We were agile, too.

We highlighted collaboration in the communication—and worked collaboratively across offices and disciplines in an agile process. To keep everything running smoothly, we built the website and created content simultaneously. Everyone on the team participated in feedback rounds, and we integrated our material directly into the backend. It’s an exciting and dynamic way to work, especially for large projects. Some of the texts you see below were written by me, by my colleague, or in collaboration.
