How do you launch a completely new brand in the packaging business? How do you create something which challenges how people view packaging and how they buy it? We created a completely new brand experience.

The Challenge

BoxInc, a subsidiary of Stora Enso, were looking to challenge the box and packaging market with a new business model. They needed a brand voice that stood out and a series of communication efforts that could help them reach their market goals.

The Strategy

We created a vibrant, young and colourful look and feel to address the main target group: SMEs. Many SMEs buy small amounts of packaging over phone, or by driving to an office depot and picking them up. We told the story of a smarter way of doing it.

Asset creation

We created several SoMe posts and campaigns, including animated videos for the German market (which was the primary test market).

Videos for SoMe

We also created ideas for short videos, which we didn’t produce. These ideas were centred around presenting bad ways of buying packaging, when you could subscribe or buy quickly from BoxInc. The bad ways were ordering over phone, driving to pick them up or getting them from a shady dealer – all done with youthful humour.
