As the creative lead for a wide range of projects with Stora Enso, I’ve shaped campaigns, communication strategies, product launches, and more. From crafting impactful branding to executing dynamic social media campaigns and events, my work has spanned every facet of their communication efforts—delivering results across their divisions.

Trayforma – Peel the change

Trayforma is not only a change towards a more environmentally friendly packaging product. It’s also easier to peel off the packaging. We created a series of social media campaigns with various products using this payoff.

#WoodHouseEffect

Playing on the the Greenhouse effect, we used the hashtag #WoodHouseEffect to talk about the sustainable aspects of building in wood materials. Our goal was also to draw attention to Stora Enso’s wood building concepts.

The campaign was highly successful and was picked up in various news around Europe.

Industrial evolution

We don’t think of industrial areas of nice places to be around. Stora Enso’s wooden concepts are nice and they actually smell nice too, since they are made out of wood. The next step in the industrial evolution is a wooden building that makes industrial areas take the human and environmental factors into account. We did a series of social media campaigns, with retargeting, animated films and activation campaigns - like the suggested Eau de industry perfume.

eMetsä branding

How do you stay in touch with forest owners and make them engage with you when they really only need you a few times in a lifetime? The eMetsä tool is a way to see all the data and needs of your forest in a digital version. You can plan activities, enter information and get in touch with forest experts at Stora Enso.

We built a new brand tone since Stora Enso usually only speaks with businesses. It’s the same voice, but with a more personal feel. For this we created a playbook, but also experiential campaigns for central Helsinki and other places, where the forest came to the forest owners who live in bigger cities (many do). We also did launch campaigns, retargeting and wrote scripts for a series of future ad films. The campaigns will run over several years.

EcoFishBox

EcoFishBox is a new type of sustainable box that challenges fossil-based materials that are standard when it comes to fish. The problem is that they are standard and people don’t believe a fossil-free box can do the job. But… they can, and keep the cool as well as plastics, while also being foldable and taking up less space in storage after use.

We created a series of ad campaigns, a landing page where we humble-bragged about all the qualities of the EcoFishBox.

Lignode

Lithium batteries are necessary for the electrification, but they also come with problems. Stora Enso has developed a new type of hard carbon from trees, avoiding problematic mining and environmental issues tied to graphite.

We told the story of this fantastic new product, talking about how trees can power future vehicles. We created LinkedIn ads, a film, website content and presentations.

Protected by trees

More and more consumers care about the whole package, including the material their products come in. And woodfoam can replace fossil-based packaging materials. We created several campaigns and sales materials to present Stora Enso’s woodfoam products Papira and Fibrease. We also set the taglines for both products and the overarching woodfoam brand.
